Hello Lincoln CC. It’s that time again and here is a bit about Newark & District PS and our activities.
Our monthly Programme begins with a visit by John Gardner who, like many others, began as a keen amateur photographer, in his case as a nature specialist, but seven years ago he turned professional and had to widen his range of work to meet customers requirements. On the 5th November we will see some of his commercial work, weddings, portraits, some figure studies and, of course, some nature photography. There should be something for everybody.
The 12th November brings and illustrated talk on “A Future for Wildlife” by Paul Learoyd, the Chief Executive of Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. The talk will show the wildlife to be found in the neighbouring county and show us some of what still remains of Lincolnshire’s “wild places” In a densely populated country it is increasingly difficult to find truly wild places.
