Streets Alive

Streets Alive

Greetings…Streets Alive will be held on Sun., Sept. 29 from 1 to 5 p.m. in Lincoln’s Everett and Near South neighborhoods. It’s a great opportunity for photographers who enjoy shooting children and family activities. Streets Alive is dedicated to helping children and adults to be more active and eat healthier.

Streets Alive! is a fun, family-oriented event produced by the Partnership for a Healthy Lincoln and supported by the city of Lincoln. Streets Alive! mission is to produce an outdoor event for Lincoln citizens of all ages, backgrounds and abilities that promotes physical activity and healthy eating.

This year there will be over 100 exhibitors and performers. Two new sponsored activities are VegFest, a community festival of harvest and markets (sponsored by Community CROPS)and Biketacular, a celebration of all aspects of biking the community with activities for children and adults (sponsored by Near South Neighborhood).

If any of your members would be interested in volunteering to take photos at the event, we would be most appreciative. The photos would be used on our Facebook page and to promote the event in future years. We have a photo release form that must be used when shooting any identifiable person.

Let me know if there is some way that I can extend this invitation to your members, or if you would be willing to communicate to them about this event. You can check out www.healthylincoln.org/streetsalive  for more information.

Thanks so much…Carol
